A Returning Client! Zerrand Delivers Specialty Mainland Food Directly to Hong Kong Airport
“Hi, it’s me again! Can you help me deliver some food to the Hong Kong Airport this time?”
We were thrilled when we received this inquiry at noon—because it was from a repeat client!
Trust is the best advertisement. After a great experience the first time, this client returned to us for a food order they were deeply craving.
The Challenge: A “Food Marathon” from Futian to HKG
This order wasn’t just any food. It was highly specific and delicious specialty Guokui (a type of flatbread) and Spicy Rabbit Legs!
And the final destination? The Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)—logistically one of the most distant and complex delivery points in the entire city.
Starting from Futian Port, the journey requires at least 1.5-2 hours one way, whether by MTR + Airport Express or by bus. This isn’t just a test of our runner’s endurance; it’s a critical challenge of food preservation and precise timing.
Our Execution: A “Fresh on Arrival” Handover
The client’s request was specific: They were arriving on a flight and wanted this hot, savory meal from home to be the first thing they ate after landing.
The Zerrand team immediately activated our 1-on-1 Dedicated Delivery Service:
- 2:00 PM (14:00): Our runner picked up the takeaway from the restaurant in Shenzhen, professionally packed it (ensuring it was secure, insulated, and spill-proof), and immediately crossed the border at Futian Port.
- 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM: This was the long but professional leg of the journey. Our runner, carrying this “taste of home,” traveled across the city, making their way directly to the airport.
- 5:30 PM (17:30): Our runner arrived at the designated meeting point at HKG (e.g., the Arrivals Hall), coordinating with the client in real-time about their flight status.
As the client walked out of the gate, our runner was there to hand over the fresh Guokui and Spicy Rabbit Legs.
The food mission was a delicious success!
It is Zerrand’s greatest honor to provide this “first meal after landing” for our returning client. This wasn’t just a food delivery; it was a transfer of trust and a warm “Welcome Home.”
